Inspired by his favorite Pottery Barn Kids towel from a couple years ago, we decided on a red, white & navy "Crabby Crab" nautical theme! I'll be posting more ideas on this theme on my Facebook page, as I search for fun red, white & blue recipes and ideas!

I LOVE seeing boy party ideas! Can't wait to see more!
We did a very similar color theme - red, green and white for a little chefs Pizza Party for Niko's 5th birthday.
Cute! I got my son similar lobster shorts last year that were adorable! Have fun at the party! How about a game "diving for crabs" (or other underwater things?)
Cute, cute Kim! I always think boy parties must be so hard compared to girls, but you do a great job of course! Can't wait to see it!
since our last name is crabtree, we have an soft spot for crabs! I can't wait to see what you come up with-I know it will be adorable!
PS What happened to Mario? :)
Kimmi - I was just at SAS yesterday and picked up loads of trim for 25 cents a yard. They had lots of cute red, white and blue stuff just in case you're interested.
How cute! I can't wait to see the final results.
thanks for posting where you found paper lanterns. I had no idea party city sold them for so cheap. Your party theme ideas are always so creative.
my little guy may have the same crabby towel!! LOVE the color theme, and LOVE the BOY inspired parties!!
Fantastic idea and I love the crips photos too.
What a creative touch to a birthday celebration.
Perfect timing! We always have a crab picking in early July, so these ideas are PERFECT! Thanks for sharing! :)
